Alright everybody, unlike most that I have known that had New Years resolutions that fell by the wayside, I have upheld and remained faithful to all of mine!
I'm down 22 pounds from the first of the year!
Love found me for free before I could throw my money away on a "dating site".
Either this month or next I am getting a tattoo and will post pix of my slim tatted figure!!!!
I have learned to pray more strategically to get an answer from God about what I need from Him. In doing this small action I have cut down majorly on the amount of time I used to spend being anxious over nothing!!!
Well until next time, I will update you on my true authenticity! I love you all and God bless!!!
I love Vesta Williams! “Congratulations” was my song! Now a new report from our friends at atoast2wealth.com is claiming that Vesta’s death may have been a suicide? Now for those of you familiar with my blogging style know that my opinion comes first and everything else second! I don’t like when people speak badly of the death of another especially one that caused industry-wide mourning like that of Vesta Williams. I will say the same thing that I did about the late Whitney Houston. Whether death came by suicide or not, “LET THE WOMAN REST!!!” Does it matter how death came to someone knowing all of the love and joy that they gave to others? Read the article below and let me know what you think…

Vesta Williams’ Death: Industry Veteran Releases Statement About Suicide Reports
The information you are about to read gives us more clarity on Vesta Williams’ death.
Industry veteran Norwood Young has released a statement addressing some reports surrounding the death of his close friend Vesta Williams, including speculation that she may have tried to take her life.
The singer’s body was found Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011 at approximately 4:30 p.m. in a Los Angeles hotel, where, according to Young, she was staying temporarily while transitioning to a new home.
“The manager of the hotel, Mr. Seth Neblett, also a friend of Ms. Williams, discovered her body,” Young says in his statement. “Mr. Neblett confirms that authorities stated that one bottle (2/3 empty) of a sleeping aid was discovered on the scene on the nightstand next to the bed.”
In an exclusive interview with EURweb, Young explained why he didn’t believe initial reports that her death may have been a suicide. He said her zest for life and Christian values were too strong, and she was too excited about her upcoming “Unsung” special and participation in Sheryl Lee Ralph’s “Divas Simply Singing” event to benefit AIDS charities.
Young adds: “Two years ago, I witnessed Vesta experiencing a debilitating seizure, and this would be a likely scenario, and I wish people would stop fabricating and spreading hurtful rumors.”
As previously reported, funeral services will be held at West Angeles Church of God in Christ (3045 S. Crenshaw Blvd., North Campus, Los Angeles) on Tuesday, Oct. 4. [Source]
We are still wondering where the reports came from that an unidentified man was with her at the hotel. Was this a fabrication as well?
We want to issue an apology to Vesta Williams’ family and friends. We were informed of reports on her death and other information about her death that is now apparently not true. Though credible news source made the same reports, we do not practice reporting false information. If these claims are not true, our apologies to the family.
UPDATE on Oct. 1, 2011:
Vesta Williams’ family is requesting privacy during this time:
“After many years of sharing her God-given gifts and talents with the world, we have lost our beloved daughter, sister and mother, Vesta. Due to the uncertainty of her passing we are awaiting toxicology and autopsy results to shed light on what may have caused her death.
“We take extreme comfort in the cherished times that we shared with Vesta over the years, and the knowledge that her life brought joy and happiness to so many people around the world. Our family requests that the media please respect our privacy during this difficult time. Although she is gone, her music lives on. Vesta will never be forgotten.”
As an update, I am down four pounds from where I was in the beginning of the year!
I will take a more recent picture and post it week by week because it will help me stay accountable the more I post as I change from week to week!
Also, I have returned to my true blonde self (hence I’ve posted the picture of the last time I was a blonde) and I am a new woman! I highly recommend when you need something different to “spice it up”, do something different and add a few streaks! And “um p.s. it works great for men too!”
Right after the New Year, I began seeing someone new! You know what? People are great teachers because they teach you so much about you! Being a quote, unquote “big girl” I have always had in the back of my mind like so many other “big girls” that men don’t care for “us” and dating would be hard. That is totally not true! Living in Atlanta is a place where “big women” are practically worshipped but receiving praise from people always comes with a cost. I’ve learned that I am not just anybody’s woman, property and I cannot live my life to be “all things to all people”. I have never been afraid of being alone; I have way too much going on for me to live beneath what my full potential is when all I want to be is happy. When a situation is causing happiness to become harder and harder to get that is when I believe God is telling me “it’s time to go!” so on to bigger and better!
Reader, I encourage you; when you set goals “STICK TO THEM!!!” Do it for yourself and no one else! And do what you have to do not to compromise your standards of yourself. You are the best you there will ever be, God only made only one of you and Jesus Christ paid a high price for you to have life abundantly so you and I don’t have time to live in mediocrity!
I have found a place to get a tattoo and dedicate it to The Lord! I know Christians getting tattoos is spoken of in the bible:
“Don’t gash your bodies on behalf of the dead.” Don’t tattoo yourselves. I am God.
The purpose of my getting a tattoo (my first one on my body) is because it has a different purpose than someone getting a tattoo for body art or to memorialize a loved one. Years ago I heard it said from a few of my friends “you have such a peace about you!” I’m not nonchalant about life; I just have peace of mind and spirit! Also I love honoring my Jewish roots so praying for the peace of Israel will also inspire my design that I get. And lastly IT WILL BE SMALL!!!!
Also, in my last blog I mentioned praying before I reacted to anything and let me tell you that prayer is the most mind regulating practice that anyone can have! Prayer is simply talking to God and we’ve already have many conversations concerning everything going on. God never get’s tired of hearing from His creation…don’t react, don’t worry about anything, pray about it first!
At the beginning of 2012 I retired from being a hair stylist, I authored a book (Queen Esteem™); I began a body care business but this year I am after “Reinvention”.
This year I am going to:
1.Pray before I react to anything: I spent way too much of 2012 worrying, crying and being unhappy about things only God can change. Also, I am not letting my life be a reflection of anyone elses opinion ever again!
2.Putting more thought and idea planning into my actual plans: instead of being impulsive and putting things together, I am going to take my time and work on creating wonderful things that other people would love to have!
3.Getting a small tattoo: And I am not telling what or where! But I will upload pictures!
4.I’m making an investment in Match.com: 2012 was full of a lot of really bad dates. Since I want to be married by 30, I figure I will go to the site that has more marriages than any other. Why not start a new year with someone new?
5.I’m investing in a gym membership! Currently I weigh more than I should and I am moving into an age bracket where weight is harder to lose. I’m not after being skinny, I’m after reinvention!
Throughout the year I will keep blogger.com informed of everything on my list and by 2014 I want us all to be in a different, better place.
This is a funny story but it's not at the same time! I swear nothing is sacred anymore, not even a Church but hopefully this sends out a message that nothing that belongs to God can be mocked! Enjoy!
Whether it was negative karma, divine intervention or just god-awful luck, a couple of would-be thieves learned a painful lesson while trying to rob a Houston church.
Westway Baptist Church is without power after the unidentified men apparently attempted to steal the building's main electric cable for its copper and set off an explosion.
"Our security alarms went off at 2 a.m. on Wednesday and that's when our church member Homer Pate notified the Harris County Sheriff's department of the robbery," head deacon Michael Kirtley told ABC News.
A surveillance camera caught the incident on tape. The video shows a truck pulling up, followed by one man cutting the wires near the street, possibly attempting to disconnect the main power line.
The video also showed the other man cutting the wires at the breaker box, followed by the explosion. The bolt cutters exploded upon contact with the copper wire.
"The man just blew up into a fire ball," Kirtley said. "I surely don't know if he was electrocuted or even alive."
The church is calling on all local medical facilities to help find the alleged thieves. "If they encounter someone with suspicious burn wounds, we urge them to inform the authorities," he said.
The church canceled all of Wednesday night's activities for lack of power. It also rented a generator in preparation for Sunday services.
"We can start the generator for eight hours only to minimize expenses," Kirtley said. "Our [insurance] deductible is $5,000. This robbery is going cost the church a lot."
The church suffered two robberies last year when two air conditioners were stolen.
Westway Baptist urged anyone with information about the attempted robbery to call the church at (281) 894-4542. They can also contact the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
Okay I have followed the ministry of Dr. Todd Hall for many years and have held a number of conversations with him. He is just as approachable and laid back as he wants to be and is one of the best preachers of our time! He is a mentor and a father to many of my friends (shout out to Alabama and those in Atlanta!) This article is very random and there is no evidence which proves a twisted doctrine is being preached!
Subjects such as what this article is based upon really burns my biscuits because a Toast 2 Wealth.com as far as I am concerned is like a tabloid whose victims are from the church andthis article in my opinion is nothing but garbage!
Further more, when does the backbiting, back stabbing, mind poisoning and demonic control (by changing the publics opinion about their article topics) when does it stop? The world laughs and mocks the Church because the Church will cut and kill its own kind! Why should the outside world believe in a God that can’t save people who kill their own kind? Think about it.
On the flip side some of their articles are legit and give Church people voices who are being done wrong, but in this case they at a toast2wealth.com are the ones that are wrong!
My evidence:
The Twisted Doctrine of Prophet Todd Hall
2:00 PM Ms. Chandler
Usually, we do not pay attention to what this particular preacher has to say, because he does not seem to give us the impression that he is preaching to win souls, but just for recognition. So, this Sunday, we happened to hear him preach at Dr. Jamal Bryant's church, Empowerment Temple and he allegedly made an odd statement about David's dancing, which is revealed in 2 Samuel 6:14. The same excuse Mary Mary uses to be like the world, we were shocked he stated the same thing that has nothing to do with being holy. He and Mary Mary reveals the particular scripture about David dancing, but the fail to include the scripture that told each and every last one of use who is suppose to be children of God this very commandment: "Be ye holy, for I am holy (I Peter 1:16)."
Prophet Todd Hall is most popular, because he seems to have a traditional style of preaching and causes much laughing among the pews with his jokes. However, by these very twisted words reveals he is not preaching according to the tradition of the gospel of Jesus Christ: "you shout with your mouth, you don't shout feet. You dance with your feet as the Bible says, and David dance, you know choreographer..." First and foremost, we fear for the black church, because even after the death of the late Dr. Zachery Tims, they are yet trying to make it okay to be like the world. They are yet having church in a worldly fashion as though they are in a night club. It seems like many of these so-call preachers do not fear God enough to start being different and do things His way. This very scripture is for each and everyone who tries to make it okay to glorify God, the same way the world glories and praises Satan, "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world, he that loveth the world the love of the Father is not in him (or her)(I John 2:15)."Therefore, David never danced the way the world danced, but he glorified God and the reason why the church used to say "shout", whenever people used to "dance under the anointing" of God, is simply, because they desired to use a word that was not similar to the way the world says it. But in today's church, many so-call prophets and prophetess have God's Word so twisted. They have confused those who do not desire to "shout" under the power of God, because they only want to preach what is popular in order to keep their recognition and keep much tithes and offerings. So, if any so-call man or woman of God is too proud to say "shout", especially in the black church, it proves how messed up church leadership is and how much the anointing in praising God has left many churches. Prophet Todd Hall is teaching a twisted doctrine that tries to ignore holiness by explaining the dictionary's meaning. For example, shout means shouting with your mouth; however, that's not how people of holiness have church. They shout with their mouth and with their feet, dancing in the spirit means to "shout" with your feet in the a real sanctified church. Todd Hall acts like he is so foreign to knowing how to praise God for real and have real church.
You may think it is irrelevant to bring this issue before the people of God; however, you may not be a true child of God if this is you, simply because, we take testimonies of people who have been to hell, very seriously. We've heard the testimony of Angelica Zambrano who allegedly saw Michael Jackson, Selina and Pope John Hall burning in eternal hell, fire and brimstone. One of the things this teen informed us, is this: Michael Jackson's dance steps came from the demons in hell, just how he danced is how she saw them doing the same steps. Therefore, the purified holiness and righteous church should not be dancing like the world; therefore, even if it means expressing the dancing under the anointing of God by saying, "shout", then so be it, because God told us to be holy and to have nothing to do with the ways of the world. God wants so much distinction, so that He may be glorified and honored as our Most High God. The way we praise and worship God, should never be similar to the way Satan is glorified and praised by the world. Therefore, Hall's statement this morning that shout only means with your mouth dancing means like choreographer dancing with your feet is certainly obsolete in the Kingdom of God. When you shout (dance under the anointing of God), you do not need a choreographer. Your footsteps are guided by the Holy Spirit.
All of this is about DANCING? I posted this blog because this article is well over a year old but is still posted all over the atoast2wealth.com site? GROW UP!!!!! It is not a sin to dance! I praise God with flags and wave offerings with flags is that a sin too? I sneezed today is that a sin? My eyes crossed because I read something too closely like the article I'm blabbing about, is that a sin? Well guess what, no twisted doctrine tabloid has a heaven or hell to put anyone one in so with that being said...good night!!!
It's my dream to be a mother someday. I can't imagine how the parents and families of the people that were killed can possibly feel at this time but I pray that we can all come together to pray for them.

Updated 6:34 p.m. Eastern
NEWTOWN, Conn. With families still on edge in Newtown, a 6-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl were laid to rest Tuesday, the latest in a long, almost unbearable procession of funerals. A total of 26 people were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary in one of the worst mass shootings in U.S history.
At St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Newtown, back-to-back funerals were held for first-graders James Mattioli and Jessica Rekos, the first of eight to be held in the coming days at the church. There will be five more on Tuesday alone, reports CBS News correspondent Jim Axelrod.
As mourners gathered outside on Tuesday, a motorcade led by police motorcycles arrived for the funeral of little James, who especially loved recess and math, and whose family described as a "numbers guy" who couldn't wait until he was old enough to order a foot-long Subway sandwich.
"It was very somber, it was very sad, it was very moving," said Clare Savarese, who taught the boy in preschool and recalled him as "a lovely little boy. A sweet little angel."
The service had not yet concluded when mourners began arriving for the funeral of Jessica, who loved horses and was counting the years until she turned 10, when her family had promised her a horse of her own. For Christmas, she had asked Santa for new cowgirl boots and hat.
"We are devastated, and our hearts are with the other families who are grieving as we are," her parents, Rich and Krista Rekos, said in a statement.
Traffic in front of the church slowed to a crawl as police directed vehicles into the church parking lot. At one point a school bus carrying elementary students became stuck in traffic. The children pressed their faces into the windows, sadly watching as mourners assembled at the church
Margarita Rosniak and her 10-year-old daughter, Charlotte, watched from the sidewalk as people entered the church for Mattioli's funeral. They had traveled from California for a Christmas vacation in New York and came to Newtown to join the residents in their grief.
Clutching her daughter close, Margarita Rosniak spoke of sympathizing with the parents. Her daughter says she plans to do a school project on the massacre. She asks, "What was the point of it? They're just little kids."

Victoria Soto: "Best daughter any mother could ask for"
Also planned for Tuesday were several wakes, including one for teacher Victoria Soto, who has been hailed as a hero for sacrificing herself to save several students.
In the middle of town, an ever-growing memorial has become a pilgrimage site for strangers who want to pay their respect.
One man told CBS Station WCBS why he visited: "Because I'm a dad with four beautiful daughters, when I found out it broke my heart. It's hard to sleep, I don't know how to feel."
At the high school, students didn't expect to get much work done Tuesday and spent much of the day talking about the terrible events of last week carried out by 20-year-old Adam Lanza.

Funerals begin for Conn. shooting victims
"We're going to be able to comfort each other and try and help each other get through this because that's the only way we're going to do it. Nobody can do this alone," Hickey said.
Sophomore Tate Schwab agreed. "It's definitely better than just sitting at home watching the news," he said. "It really hasn't sunk in yet. It feels to me like it hasn't happened. It's really weird."
As for concerns about safety, the students were defiant.
"This is where I feel the most at home," Hickey said. "I feel safer here than anywhere else in the world."
Some parents kept their children at home anyway Tuesday, as local police and school officials planned how and where to increase security. State police said they were on alert for threats and hoaxes.
One Newtown school, Head O'Meadow Elementary, was reportedly locked down Tuesday due to an unspecified threat. The principal told parents to keep their children home, according to a letter from the principal published by WFSB-TV.
Authorities say the horrible events of Friday began when Lanza shot his mother, Nancy, at their home, then took her car and some of her guns to nearby Sandy Hook Elementary, where he broke in and opened fire, killing 20 children and six adults before turning the gun on himself.
A Connecticut official said the mother, a gun enthusiast who practiced at shooting ranges, was found dead in her pajamas in bed, shot four times in the head with a .22-caliber rifle.
Lanza was wearing all black, with an olive-drab utility vest with lots of pockets, during the attack.
As investigators worked to figure out what drove him to lash out with such fury — and why he singled out the school — federal agents said that he had fired guns at shooting ranges over the past several years, though there was no evidence he had done so recently.
Debora Seifert, a spokeswoman for the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, said both Lanza and his mother fired at shooting ranges, sometimes visiting them together.
"We do not have any indication at this time that the shooter engaged in shooting activities in the past six months," Seifert said.
Investigators have found no letters or diaries that could explain the attack.
Whatever his motives, normalcy will be slow in returning to Newtown. Classes were canceled districtwide Monday.
Dan Capodicci, whose 10-year-old daughter attends the school at St. Rose of Lima church, said it was time for her to get back to classes.
"It's the right thing to do. You have to send your kids back. But at the same time I'm worried," he said. "We need to get back to normal."
The district has made plans to send surviving Sandy Hook students to Chalk Hill, a former middle school in the neighboring town of Monroe. Sandy Hook desks that will fit the small students were being taken there, and tradesmen were donating their services to get the school ready within a matter of days.
With Sandy Hook Elementary still designated a crime scene, state police Lt. Paul Vance said it could be months before police turn the school back over to the district.
Lanza is believed to have used a Bushmaster AR-15-style rifle, a civilian version of the military's M-16. It is similar to the weapon used in a recent shopping mall shooting in Oregon and other deadly attacks around the U.S. Versions of the AR-15 were outlawed in this country under the 1994 assault weapons ban, but the law expired in 2004.
Private equity firm Cerberus Capital Management announced Tuesday it plans to sell its stake in Freedom Group, maker of the Bushmaster rifle, following the school shootings.
Cerberus said in a statement that it was deeply saddened by Friday's events, and that it will hire a financial adviser to help with the process of selling its Freedom Group interests.
The outlines of a national debate on gun control have begun to take shape. At the White House, spokesman Jay Carney said curbing gun violence is a complex problem that will require a "comprehensive solution."
Carney did not offer specific proposals or a timeline. He said President Barack Obama will meet with law enforcement officials and mental health professionals in coming weeks.
New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, flanked by shooting survivors and relatives of victims of gunfire around the country, pressed Obama and Congress to toughen gun laws and tighten enforcement after the Newtown massacre.
"If this doesn't do it," he asked, "what is going to?"
At least one senator, Virginia Democrat Mark Warner, said Monday that the attack in Newtown has led him to rethink his opposition to the ban on assault weapons.
West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin, a Democrat who is an avid hunter and lifelong member of the National Rifle Association, said it's time to move beyond the political rhetoric and begin an honest discussion about reasonable restrictions on guns.
"This is bigger than just about guns," he added. "It's about how we treat people with mental illness, how we intervene, how we get them the care they need, how we protect our schools. It's just so sad."
